GETTING STARTED - consultation form
After completing a consultation form. Outlining exactly what you want, from imagery, placement and meaning...

FOLLOW UP
Emma will read through your request and send a confirmation email with an invoice attached. As well as any clarification she may need.
You will need to pay upfront before the design process will begin.


RESEARCH
Once the payment has been received Emma will begin researching into your specific iwi (if Māori and getting Tā moko) to draw inspiration for the tailored work.

ROUGH SKETCH
A rough sketch will begin the process mapping out shape and placement. Once your are happy...


CLEAN LINE + INFILL
The work will become more detailed as infill designs are added as well as colour and shading if specified.



MEANING OUTLINE
If you are happy with the final product Emma will write out a detailed breakdown of the meaning behind your piece.
This is all based on your initial responses on the form so be as detailed as you can. The more the artist knows the more tailored it is to you.
PRICING
Prices for designs will vary depending on size and complexity. However, you can expect to pay between $100 - $1000 for a custom design.
The initial fee will need to be paid upfront and if alterations to the design are requested there may be additional costs.
